Ohmium and Hynfra Partner on Green Hydrogen Projects in Mauritania, Jordan and Oman Electrolyzer manufacturer Ohmium International and green ammonia developer Hynfra have signed a master cooperation agreement to advance green hydrogen and ammonia projects in Mauritania, Jordan and Oman. The agreement covers Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) studies for projects aimed at boosting domestic clean energy production, reducing reliance on imported fossil fuels and creating export opportunities, including for European markets seeking Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origin (RFNBO)-compliant fuels. Ohmium will provide its proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzer technology during the FEED and development phases, while Hynfra will contribute its project development expertise and regional partnerships. "Hynfra brings deep expertise and a bold vision for large-scale green hydrogen development, and together we will advance these projects to unlock green hydrogen and green ammonia production at scale," said Markus Tacke, CEO of Ohmium International. The partnership comes as Mauritania, Oman and Jordan continue expanding their green hydrogen ambitions. Mauritania's abundant solar and wind resources have attracted major projects, including CWP's AMAN development. Oman is targeting annual green hydrogen production of 1.5 million tonnes by 2030, while Jordan is advancing export-focused green ammonia projects, including a planned US$1 billion facility at the Port of Aqaba
