Gold for the E‑175 EP5 E2! We are thrilled that our E‑175 EP5 E2 has been awarded the gold medal by Windpower Monthly in the category onshore turbines 7.0 MW plus at the “Turbines of the Year Award 2025”. The expert jury particularly recognized the turbine’s innovative core feature: the new disc‑shaped, split PM generator with a 10‑meter diameter in outer‑rotor design. The reduced magnet requirement as well as our efficient logistics and installation concept were also highlighted as key advantages. With a rotor diameter of 175 meters and a rated power of 7.0 MW, the E‑175 EP5 E2 is one of the highest-yielding onshore wind turbines in Europe. It is also a major element of our portfolio, offering customers integrated solutions for the connected energy ecosystem.
