Climate protection succeeds - when industry and government move forward together. At ENERCON’s Generator Centre of Excellence in Magdeburg, we are scaling up series production of our new flagship turbine E‑175 EP5 E2 – responding to growing demand and actively shaping the next phase of the energy transition. With 7.0 MW rated power and a 175 m rotor diameter, the E‑175 EP5 E2 is among the highest-yielding onshore wind turbines in Europe – designed for maximum performance, reliability and long-term value. But technological innovation alone is not enough. What truly accelerates progress are reliable policy frameworks, planning security and close cooperation between industry and government. During a visit of Prof. Dr. Armin Willingmann, Minister for Science, Energy, Climate Protection and Environment of Saxony‑Anhalt, ENERCON COO Heiko B. Juritz Juritz highlighted how this partnership enables sustainable growth and faster expansion of wind energy. At the regional level, ENERCON and policymakers are already working together. Recently the Generator Centre of Excellence became a member of the Environmental Alliance for Saxony-Anhalt. Some 200 companies, associations and the regional government have joined forces in this alliance, initiated by Saxony-Anhalt, to commit to protecting the environment. The minister presented the membership certificate during his visit to the site. Together, we can turn ambition into action – and action into impact. #EnergyTransition #WindEnergy #Renewables #ClimateAction #Sustainability #OnshoreWind #IndustryAndGovernment #ENERCON
