What does it take to become a "Global Citizen" before the term even existed? Long before the world was as connected as it is today, Pandit Ravi Shankar was navigating the complexities of life and career between cultures—from his roots in India to coming of age in Paris, and eventually changing the sound of global music forever. His journey reflects the questions many of us in the Bay Area still grapple with today: 🔹How do you stay rooted in tradition while reaching a global audience? 🔹What do you sacrifice in the pursuit of excellence? 🔹How do you define success on your own terms? This week, EnActe Arts presents ENCHANTMENT, a multigenre play that offers a raw, balanced portrait of a man, his genius, and his faults. This isn't just a biography; it’s a "theatre of confluence" directed by Dr. Gowri Ramnarayan , who witnessed the maestro's life firsthand. After sold-out runs in NYC and Dallas, we are bringing this powerful experience to our home stage for two nights only. As one audience member in Irvine put it: "If I had known it would be so good, I would have brought all my family and friends." Don't be the one hearing about it after the final curtain falls. 🗓️ When: April 17th & 18th (Visit ticket link to see specific show times) 📍 Where: The EnActerium, Sunnyvale 🎟️ Tickets: https://lnkd.in/gCCxYD_t Join us for a story that moves beyond the music to the very heart of human ambition and identity. #BayAreaArts #GlobalCitizen #RaviShankar #Leadership #Identity #EnActeArts #Theatre #CulturalHeritage
