Bernie Florido came to eMYRge to build something. Turns out Myrtle Beach noticed. The City of Myrtle Beach Council gave first-reading approval for his company to move into a larger office in the A&I District, a signal worth paying attention to. Cocoflo started at eMYRge, working alongside the city's Parks and Recreation Department on software technology. The growth is big enough now that the company needs more room. Bernie described what that next phase looks like: "The office is going to be a real mixture of team members from engineering to product to customer success and implementation teams." Bernie did not hesitate when it came to staying in the district. "There's a lot of forethought and planning into what this district is going to become. It's already incredible the way it is." A second council reading is required before the lease is finalized. But the direction is clear. An eMYRge member started here, grew here, and is now building his full team here. That is exactly what this community is for. To read more, the full story is https://lnkd.in/eWCxS6Pn.
