Last week, the Sika Emseal team gathered at Ellsworth McAfee Park in Northborough to celebrate Sika Day 2026. This year's theme - "Our People. Our Safety. Our Success." - reflects values that don't stay at the office. They show up in how we work, how we look out for each other, and how we engage with the communities around us. We began the day the way we begin every meeting: with a safety moment. With temperatures in the 90s, the focus was on hydration and heat awareness. Water and Gatorade were stocked and ready. Office and manufacturing team members spent the afternoon together. Kickball, soccer penalty kicks in the spirit of the World Cup, lawn games, Sika Emseal trivia, tacos, and ice cream. Sika Day is also a moment to recognize what this team contributes beyond the building. Following recent volunteer work at the Worcester Community Veterinary Hospital, we were proud to announce a $2,000 donation to the Westborough Food Pantry in support of the neighbors they serve. Safety brought us together. Teamwork keeps us moving. Community reminds us why it matters.
