🔧 Clutch discs made from EMS high-performance polyamides replace metal Innovative polyamides are replacing metal components in mechanical engineering. A new clutch disc made from glass fiber-reinforced high-performance polymer is used in industrial engines such as concrete mixers, forklifts, tractors and asphalt mixers. The result: around 30% weight reduction and approx. 40% cost savings compared to aluminum die-cast parts.
