Today's end-of-life vehicles. Tomorrow's UK magnets.   We're proud to announce that EMR has joined REACT-UK: Rare Earth Automotive Circular Technologies, a £6.5 million collaborative project building a circular UK supply chain for rare earth magnets used in electric and hybrid vehicles.   Working alongside HyProMag Ltd, Mkango Resources Ltd., Rare Earths UK, JLR, LESS COMMON METALS LIMITED and the University of Birmingham, our EV Battery, End-of-Life Vehicle and Research & Development teams will help recover, recycle and remanufacture magnets already in circulation, rather than losing them at end of life.   It's a practical example of how the UK's urban mine can strengthen domestic manufacturing and reduce reliance on imported materials.   "This is about turning today's materials into tomorrow's products and ensuring those materials remain part of the UK economy." - Mike Hogan TMCIWM MBA, Corporate Development Manager.   Read the full story to find out more about the project and what it means for the UK's resource security ⬇️
