After more than a decade with EMR and a 40-year career across metals, recycling and energy, Anton van Genuchten will step back from executive leadership on the 31st May 2026. Since joining EMR in 2013, Anton has played a central role in building our Continental European business through a period of significant change for global recycling and circular material supply chains. Our Group CEO, Chris Sheppard, said: "Anton combines deep market knowledge with straightforward commercial judgement and a genuine understanding of people and partnerships, qualities that have made a real difference to EMR over many years." Anton will continue supporting the business through a transition period while EMR's leadership, strategy and commitment to customers remains unchanged.
