Congratulations to Catherine Murari-Kanti, Ph.D. for her promotion to Assistant Director of Licensing at Emory Technology Transfer! 🎉 Catherine joined Emory OTT as a Licensing Associate in October 2021 and advanced to Senior Licensing Associate in June 2023. She has been responsible for evaluating and licensing inventions made by faculty as well as overseeing our Licensing Internship program. In her new position, Catherine will manage our Contracts team. When asked what she likes most about working with inventors and other technology transfer professionals, Catherine said: "I enjoy inventors’ energy and passion for the work they’re doing. It revs me up. And it’s great working with TT professionals because we don’t work in silos; we work with each other for a common goal." 👏 Catherine has been a trusted colleague and tireless advocate for both OTT and the researchers we serve. Please join us in congratulating Catherine on her exciting new role!
