I added an AI policy to my syllabus. We discussed the details in class today, and instructors should know that, once students can see what AI does, many are concerned about what AI means for their future. Not in a AI-will-wake-up-and-kill-us way but in a will-there-still-be-jobs-in-my-field way. We don’t have many answers yet, but we should welcome discussion. And teach how to use the tools responsibly.
