Yesterday, the True North Talent team swapped recruitment calls and LinkedIn messages for pallets, crates, food parcels, and plenty of heavy lifting. 💪 We had the privilege of spending the day volunteering with The Bread and Butter Thing, helping at their headquarters alongside an incredible team working tirelessly to support communities across the UK. It was hard work. There were boxes to move, food to package, crates to lift, and plenty of teamwork required throughout the day. But every member of the TNT team threw themselves into it and got stuck in from start to finish. What stood out most was seeing first-hand the scale of the operation and the impact it has on so many families and communities. By redistributing surplus food and supporting local communities, The Bread and Butter Thing is making a genuine difference where it matters most. A huge thank you to our team who gave up their time and energy to get involved. It was fantastic to see everyone working side by side in a completely different environment, supporting a cause that aligns so closely with the industry we work in every day. A special thank you also goes to Justin Pritchard, Head of Food, and the rest of TBBT team, for taking the time to welcome us, show us around, and share more about the organisation's mission and impact. We've proudly supported The Bread and Butter Thing previously, and after spending another day with the team, it's safe to say we'll be continuing that support in the future. The work they do is too important not to get behind.
