EGA has signed an agreement with Abu Dhabi Ports Group to enhance operational flexibility and efficiency at EGA’s dedicated berth at Khalifa Port. The upgrades will enable the berth to accommodate larger Newcastlemax vessels, capable of carrying 15–20 per cent more cargo, and support the handling of approximately 8 million tonnes of bulk cargo annually.
