Founder of Milly Grace

I recently heard the statistic that only 4 in 10 UK businesses make it to their fifth year. Milly Grace turned 5 this year, and while I’m proud of that milestone, I’m more proud of how we actually got here. There were moments in 2024 where I didn't think we’d be part of that statistic. But 2025 became the year that changed everything. - We spent 12 months stress-testing our waterproof collection before it ever reached a customer. I wanted to build jewellery that could survive marathons, a 50-mile cycle, and everything life throws at us. We've spotted Milly Grace at the Tour de France Femmes, Hyrox, at ultra marathons and more. - We didn't just grow in numbers; we grew in trust. Seeing 3x our retention rate in 2025 has been our biggest win of the year. - Building the Team: We moved out of our studio and into our first proper Leeds office and warehouse. Having a team by my side has been amazing - to see Milly Grace become a team has been such a pinch me moment. - 2025 also marks 10 years since I was admitted to hospital for anorexia. Back then, I was at my weakest. Today, I know that the grit that got me through that part of my life has helped me hugely to build this brand today. If you’re a founder sitting where I was a year ago, feeling like you're the only thing holding it all together, keep going. Focus on making your product better than it needs to be. Build for the people who actually use it. Success usually follows substance. 2024 nearly broke me. 2025 built me. 2026? We’re just getting started. ✨
