Program Manager | BCD Travel ESC
Over the past six months, I've had the opportunity to step into a Program Manager role at BCD Travel. It's been a steep learning curve, but also one of the most rewarding chapters of my career so far. What has become increasingly clear to me is that global travel programs are about much more than bookings, processes, and service levels. Behind every successful program are strong relationships, clear governance, and a shared commitment to solving problems before they become issues. Here are some of the areas I've been most focused on: 🔹 Building stronger governance and accountability Helping align teams and stakeholders around common objectives, while ensuring that processes are consistent, compliant, and fit for purpose. 🔹 Strengthening duty of care and risk visibility Whether reactivating critical alert systems or addressing operational risks, the goal has always been the same: ensuring travelers are supported and informed wherever they are. 🔹 Supporting global service stability Working through challenges in complex markets, driving accountability with partners, and helping transform reactive situations into sustainable solutions. 🔹 Contributing to large-scale transformation initiatives Supporting global consolidation efforts across multiple regions, while keeping a close eye on data quality, privacy requirements, and operational readiness. 🔹 Promoting data-driven decision making Encouraging a shift from simply managing costs to making better decisions through accurate, meaningful data. Good governance starts with good information. 🔹 Driving adoption through collaboration and training Bringing teams together, improving knowledge-sharing, and creating the conditions for lasting change rather than short-term fixes. My biggest takeaway? In complex and mission-driven environments, governance isn't about control—it's about creating the structure that allows people, processes, and partners to perform at their best. I'm grateful to work alongside colleagues and clients who are committed to continuous improvement and who understand that lasting success comes from collaboration, transparency, and trust. Proud to be part of a journey that is not only improving a program today, but helping build a stronger model for the future. #Leadership #TravelManagement #ProgramManagement #BusinessTravel #Governance #Transformation #DutyOfCare #DataDriven #Collaboration #BCDTravel
