I recently had the opportunity to volunteer for the ‘Inspire - Opening Doors’ Campaign at the Launch Academy, Skinners’ Academy. Let me tell you why it was such a rewarding experience. Led by incredible facilitators Rosa Minani and Jemima M. and working alongside fellow volunteers Joy Huang and Zay Ya Phone Pyaih, we engaged with students through workshops focused on building confidence, communication, and teamwork. We guided the students in developing ideas on how to improve different areas of the world, impressed by their keen planning and enthusiasm and supporting them with organisation and execution of presentations. Despite the students feeling nervous and apprehensive at first, watching them gain confidence and giving it their best was truly inspiring. What stood out most was hearing direct feedback from the students about the areas in which the campaign helped them: • “Helped with my communication” • “I used to have stage fright, now I feel confident” • “Speaking out loud and working in a group” Seeing that shift in confidence in such a short time was a reminder of how impactful it can be to simply give your time and support. I’d strongly encourage you to get involved with programmes like this. Opportunities like these don’t just benefit the students, they help you reflect on yourself and your growth journey too. If you're interested in making a difference, reach out to Inspire Education Business Partnership and get involved. You never know the impact you might have. #Volunteering #YouthDevelopment #ConfidenceBuilding #Education #Leadership #Inspire #CommunityImpact
