Teen mental health needs addressing. This research shows a way forward. Meet Intinn: a film‑led classroom experience created with Cork International Film Festival and University College Cork. By speaking to young people in their own language it's helped teenagers feel better, build resilience, and speak more openly about their mental health after just one session. Teachers said it made difficult conversations safer and easier, and students called it eye‑opening and relatable. Since the research was published, Intinn has continued to evolve with: ▪️ Shorter films to keep teens engaged ▪️ More films added, covering a wider range of mental‑health challenges ▪️ Continued collaboration with educators and youth‑mental‑health experts This is why the research was a well‑deserved 2025 Literati Award winner - recognised for making an impact in education in ways traditional lessons often can’t. It's the exact kind of impact Emerald is committed to publishing.
