Adrenaline, quick thinking and serious teamwork, the 2026 Surface Mine Emergency Response Competition had it all. 🔥 We were proud to sponsor the WASM Mine Rescue Team as they threw themselves into the thick of it at this year's competition, hosted by the Chamber of Minerals and Energy of WA in Kalgoorlie. Up against a field of teams from resources operations right across WA, the WASM Wolves were put through a gruelling range of real-world scenarios, from firefighting and vehicle extraction to rope rescues and hazardous materials response. It's a privilege to support the next generation of talent coming through into the mining industry. A huge congratulations to the WASM Wolves on doing themselves proud, and to every team that competed. The skill, professionalism and commitment to safety on display was second to none.
