From senior design project to award-winning startup. 🚀 What started as a solution to a common challenge in Embry-Riddle’s Robotics Lab has evolved into a promising business venture. Mechanical Engineering graduates Arjun Menon and Jadyn Fulcher, alongside teammates Eva Miller and Logan Williams, developed Tracker, a smart tool-tracking system that provides real-time inventory monitoring, user accountability and tool-use analytics. Designed to improve efficiency while remaining cost-effective, Tracker helps ensure the right tools are always where they need to be. After earning first place at the Department of Mechanical Engineering Senior Design Showcase, the team transformed their innovation into a startup with support from Embry-Riddle’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Their entrepreneurial journey has already resulted in $10,000 in venture funding, including awards from the Volusia Innovation Challenge and Launch Your Venture. Now, the team is continuing to grow Tracker through additional venture competitions and exploring opportunities with the Department of Defense Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program. Congratulations to Arjun, Jadyn, Eva, Logan and faculty mentor Dr. Monica Garcia on demonstrating how engineering innovation can create real-world impact. https://lnkd.in/ehhGBjZG #EmbryRiddle #MechanicalEngineering #Innovation #Entrepreneurship #RoboticsStartup
