We often celebrate what technology achieves. But we rarely stop to ask who made it possible and how... Does it sound familiar? ๐Ÿ”Ž ย  That was the heart of our evening with Women In Digital Switzerland Chapter Zug and Siemens Switzerland: ๐‘คโ„Ž๐‘Ž๐‘ก ๐‘‘๐‘œ๐‘’๐‘  ๐‘–๐‘ก ๐‘ก๐‘Ž๐‘˜๐‘’ ๐‘ก๐‘œ ๐‘๐‘ข๐‘–๐‘™๐‘‘ ๐‘ก๐‘’๐‘โ„Ž๐‘›๐‘œ๐‘™๐‘œ๐‘”๐‘ฆ ๐‘กโ„Ž๐‘Ž๐‘ก ๐‘ก๐‘Ÿ๐‘ข๐‘™๐‘ฆ ๐‘ ๐‘’๐‘Ÿ๐‘ฃ๐‘’๐‘  ๐‘๐‘’๐‘œ๐‘๐‘™๐‘’? ย  We brought together five panellists from very different worlds: ๐ŸŒ communications, regional economic policy, AI research, entrepreneurship and management consulting. And the conversation that followed was anything but simple. ย  A few things have stayed with me since. ย  โญ๏ธ ๐…๐จ๐œ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐จ๐ง ๐ฉ๐ž๐จ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ž, ๐ง๐จ๐ญ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ญ.ย  It sounds obvious, and yet it is the thing organisations forget most often. The result gets celebrated. The people and the choices behind it rarely do. ย  โญ๏ธ ๐๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ ๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ค๐ง๐จ๐ฐ. ๐‹๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ง.ย  This one sits at the core of everything I believe about good work, whether in CX, events or community building. ๐‘Œ๐‘œ๐‘ข ๐‘๐‘Ž๐‘›๐‘›๐‘œ๐‘ก ๐‘‘๐‘’๐‘ ๐‘–๐‘”๐‘› ๐‘“๐‘œ๐‘Ÿ ๐‘๐‘’๐‘œ๐‘๐‘™๐‘’ ๐‘ฆ๐‘œ๐‘ข โ„Ž๐‘Ž๐‘ฃ๐‘’ ๐‘›๐‘œ๐‘ก ๐‘ก๐‘Ÿ๐‘ข๐‘™๐‘ฆ โ„Ž๐‘’๐‘Ž๐‘Ÿ๐‘‘. ย  โญ๏ธ ๐ƒ๐จ๐ž๐ฌ ๐€๐ˆ ๐ž๐ฆ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฐ๐ž๐ซ? ๐ƒ๐จ ๐š ๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ. ๐‘๐ž๐ฆ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž ๐ข๐ญ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐ž๐ž.ย  Not ideological, not theoretical. Just honest and practical. If it makes things better for the people using it, it earns its place. If it doesn't, it simply doesn't. ย  ๐ŸŒป An additional highlight of the evening was Maryna Shchipak, a talented expert in ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฉ๐ก๐ข๐œ ๐ซ๐ž๐œ๐จ๐ซ๐๐ข๐ง๐ , who was with us live throughout the night, turning the conversation into a stunning visual piece in real time. The kind of work that makes you stop and look twice, or more, and through which you see the overall picture through her eyes and beautiful hand drawing. ย  The Q&A kept the energy high, the networking felt genuinely warm, and it was a joy to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new ones. ย  ๐Ÿ™ Thank you to our incredible panellists: Berit Lange, Silvia Thalmann-Gut, Sarbari Roy, Michael Gerlich and Madalina Manoiu.
