As the year comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on my 6-month internship with EssilorLuxottica back in March. During my stint with the Leonardo Vision Care team, I supported vision care education initiatives for ECPs and students and saw firsthand the effort that goes into delivering meaningful, high-quality training behind the scenes. I then moved into a more hands-on, customer-facing role at Spectacle Hut where i supported customers with diverse needs. Beyond day-to-day responsibilities, I also supported events such as the International Myopia Event, where I engaged with esteemed ECPs to promote Stellest, gaining experience in professional communication and product knowledge. "See more, be more." This EssilorLuxottica motto has resonated deeply with me throughout my 6-months internship, making me a more well-rounded individual with deepened appreciation for both frontline retail professionals and the teams working behind the scenes, while reinforcing the importance of empathy, consistency, and genuine care in all we do. I'd also like to take this chance to express my heartfelt gratitude to my supervisors: Kimberly L., Nellie Zhang, Jeremy W., Sher Lyn Khok, Yu Cheng Eugen Hung for the time and patience it took to guide me. The knowledge and skills i gained will stay with me as i move forward in my career. Iβm equally thankful to my colleagues, who always gave their support and camaraderie. π«Άπ» An Vo, Alexandrine Turpin, Adrien Ly, Khong Wykinn, Koh Yui, Dorcas Shayna Chua
