Yesterday, the ELWIND team attended #WindWorks2026 in Riga — a timely and insightful discussion for the Baltic offshore wind community. A few messages came through loud and clear: ⚡ Wind power is critical infrastructure. It is central to regional energy independence, grid resilience, and long‑term geopolitical stability across the Baltic Sea. ⏳ Supply chains take time. The conference was a strong reminder of how much foresight, coordination, and capacity‑building offshore wind really requires. 🌍 Cross‑border coordination is the key - no single country can do this alone. This is exactly why initiatives like ELWIND matter: building the foundation for offshore wind together, from the very start.
