This edition of Première Vision, I was honoured to be given a mission I loved : covering topics that are dear to my heart, by meeting and connecting experts of the industry, from textile engineers, fibre developers, chemists, to managers and CEO's.  The topics I had the chance to discuss quite openly and frankly were that of the realities of 🌱 scaling biobased materials, with René Bethmann, Carmen Danner AeoniQ™ and Marco Zhu-Schneider dfine fabrics ♻️ that of making recycled fibres a viable option with Lutz Walter Textile ETP Andreas Dorner RE&UP Recycling Technologies and Lucie Ladigue Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute, and 🧪 colour with Philippe Berlan EverDye, Benjamin Droguet Sparxell and Li 莉 LI 李 Chloris Biodye I have a huge admiration for them and their deep expertise - and owe them an even bigger gratefulness for the knowledge they shared. 🙏 I also learned again a lot from the always insightful technology talks from Ben Hanson, who opened the show on Tuesday with a both inspiring and grounded vision of fashion 2030 through the lense of tech and innovation. Victoire Satto was of course putting critical topics on the table ! Through this perspective, I must say that Première Vision for me remains an must-go to discover and meet the actors of the industry, to hear the voices from inside, and a place where you are sure to tumble into familiar faces ! But it's also an opportunity to create future collaborations with novel exhibitors and innovators (such as the amazing work of Graysha Audren WEFFAN Ltd - which I discovered at Future Fabrics in 2024, so happy to see her here!) - not comparing to what was but focusing on what could and will be, and which actions to take towards these aims ! Bravo to the fashion, communication and organisational teams, with a special shout-out to Stéphanie Reculeau Pasquet as well as Desolina Suter Béatrice H. Julieta Mercerat and the fashion team for the invisible backstage work! 🙌
