#WorldFoodSafetyDay This year’s theme, “From burden to solutions – safe food everywhere,” highlights the importance of turning knowledge into action to reduce the impact of foodborne disease and strengthen safe food systems worldwide. Packaging is part of that effort. At Elopak, food safety is built into every stage of the value chain. Our role is to help protect product integrity and support the safe delivery of liquid food products to consumers. Packaging also helps preserve freshness and reduce spoilage, which is closely linked to food security and food waste. Protecting food and making it available for longer are both part of building more resilient food systems. On World Food Safety Day, we recognize the shared responsibility across the food chain, and the vital work of everyone helping to keep food safe, available and trusted.
