Decentralized energy is more than an add-on – it’s a system upgrade⚡ A new study by Roland Berger, commissioned by Enpal and presented together with more than 20 leading energy companies - including Elli - shows the true potential of decentralized solutions like solar energy, energy storage, EVs, heat pumps and smart & bidirectional charging: ▪️ €185–255 billion in total additional value for the German energy system by 2045 ▪️ Up to 50% lower energy costs for households and SMEs ▪️ 100,000 new jobs created ▪️ Up to 40% reduction in grid expansion costs The message is clear: integrating decentralized solutions consistently into Germany’s energy system is essential for a cost-efficient, resilient, and future-proof energy transition.
