✨ 𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐚 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐔̈𝐕 𝐍𝐎𝐑𝐃 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭! ✨ 🌍 From emerging technologies beyond AI like solar radiation modification to deep dives into the (r)evolution of our six Business units services – Basecamp Future 2025 in Berlin delivered two days of inspiration, hands-on workshop and networking. I had the pleasure of co-hosting the first day of this global TÜV NORD GROUP event together with my fantastic colleague Irina Fiegenbaum and what a journey it’s been: 💡 Discussing innovation and technologies. Huge thanks to Maria Koomen for her keynote on From emerging technologies beyond AI like solar radiation modification – a topic I hadn’t explored much before. Who decides when to dim the sun? What if billionaires simply do it for their region because of personal needs? What impact would this have on the entire ecosystem? What happens when the sun is „switched on“ again? Will climate change soon make it necessary for us to switch the sun off from time to time? Sharing just a couple of questions I didn’t know we needed to have an answer for… 🏆 Celebrating our Innovation Award winner TÜV NORD Guardian, a product for detecting tachometer manipulation. It is an essential problem when you consider that mileage is a key factor in determining the price. According to ADAC: One in three used cars is affected by tachometer manipulation! 🤖 I have built my first voice bot. 💪 🚀 Personally, this also marked one of my last missions as Senior Manager Digitalization & Innovation at TÜV NORD AG – I’ll be joining TÜV NORD Mobilität GmbH & Co. KG next week and can’t wait for what’s ahead.
