One of the biggest misconceptions about Risk Management is that it's about predicting the future. It isn't. Risk professionals are not expected to know exactly what will happen. Our role is to understand uncertainty, challenge assumptions, identify vulnerabilities, and help organizations make better-informed decisions. The most valuable risk conversations often happen before a project starts, before a process changes, or before a strategic decision is finalized. When Risk is involved early, it becomes a business enabler. When Risk is involved late, it often becomes a reporting exercise. In increasingly complex and fast-changing environments, the ability to ask the right questions may be just as important as having the right answers. What do you think is the most underrated skill for Risk professionals today? #RiskManagement #OperationalRisk #Governance #InternalAudit #Compliance #RiskCulture #FinancialServices #EnterpriseRiskManagement
