The gift cards are officially delivered! In total, there were 170 families and a total of 389 children our Basic Needs team served with our Giving Tree this year. This week of fundraising has absolutely made me appreciate even more the tireless work our Basic Needs Advocacy Team folks do every single day. I want to give a wholehearted shout out to: Amber Huffman, LPC-S, Angelica Cancino de Sandoval, Michele De La Garza, Sarah Taylor, Shakera Ali, Viviana Jaimes, M.A., Marium Sayegh, LMSW, Ashley Perales, Theresa (Teri) Villegas-Shipman, Charles Cox, La'Keisha Brite, Grace Jones, Felicia Bell, Adrienne Sanchez, Sandi Saathoff, Patina Gamez, Haley Tarnowski, Eriko Tyner, Christie Curtis, Vanessa Barrientos, Teina Gamez, Alegra Harris, and Cara Crowley for serving our students every single day and making miracles like this into reality.
