Watched @emilymaybie's Zapier MCP workshop today on creating Claude Skills and immediately used it to design something real for our architecture firm. We take site visit photos on iPhones. They get airdropped, dragged, dumped in folders with names like IMG_8897.JPG, and someone manually renames them and writes the field report. Here's the Claude skill I'm mapping out using Claude Cowork + Zapier MCP (I think I'll call it /fieldreportmagic): → Photos upload straight from iPhone to Google Drive via the GDrive app → Claude renames every image descriptively → Claude dedupes and removes garbage pics → Claude drafts the field report automatically → Claude posts to Basecamp as a draft for approval — via Zapier MCP, because Claude has no native Basecamp connector. Zapier does . Zapier #FTW Right tool. Right gap. That's the design. Anyone else stanning Anthropic Claude, Zapier and 37signals Basecamp? Fingers crossed my plan withstands a test with reality.
