As my time as a Talent Acquisition Intern at Wealthsimple comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on just how much this experience has shaped me. Over the past several months, I had the privilege of supporting hiring for our Client Experience Operations team as well as the Summer intern cohort. I learned what it looks like to build a team with intention, to advocate for candidates, and to see people as more than resumes. Getting to play even a small role in someone's career journey is something I won't take for granted. I want to take this moment and thank Victoria Parikian, Vic A. and the rest of the talent acquisition team. Thank you for trusting me with real work from day one, for answering every question with patience, and for creating an environment where I felt genuinely supported. I've grown more than I thought possible, and that's entirely because of the people around me. As this chapter wraps up, I'm excited to share that I'll be stepping into the next one as a Client Experience Agent at Wealthsimple. One of the very roles I was supporting. Getting to experience this work from the other side feels like a true full-circle moment, and I can't wait to keep learning alongside such an incredible team.
