On Day 2 of our KOTRA ESG Academy, we moved from discussions to practical insights with two company visits that gave our Korean delegation a closer look at how major Austrian companies put ESG into practice 🌿🌎 Our morning began at VERBUND, where Angelika Stampfel, Nikolaus Egyed, Thomas Reitböck and Andrea Martens-Horvath shared how the company integrates sustainability across all areas of its business. Our Korean delegation was particularly interested in Verbund’s Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and impressed by the company’s overall ESG performance 🌱📈 In the afternoon, we visited ASFINAG, where Ulli Vielhaber and Stefan Humenberger presented their ESG approach, highlighting sustainability in infrastructure and stakeholder engagement. One of our Korean government officials from the Gyeonggi region also introduced Gyeonggi's regional ESG programs for Korean SMEs — a great moment of exchange and mutual learning 🤝 A sincere thank you to both companies and all speakers for sharing their insights and making this day such an inspiring experience! 😇
