High power at low voltage. ⚡ We recently completed a 5.4 MW low-voltage electric motor weighing 10,800 kg for a test field application. At 690 V, output levels of this magnitude result in multi-kiloamp currents. In this range, execution matters. Conductor cross sections, connection concepts and thermal conduction must be carefully coordinated. One key design decision was to use form-wound coil windings. The pre-formed, fully insulated coils are installed as complete coil sets in the stator slots, ensuring consistent build quality and supporting high power density in a compact, low-voltage design. #ElectricMotor #LowVoltage #Testfield #
