We won the Strategy& x OneAIM Makeathon. After three inspiring months in the OneAIM Connect program, we concluded the semester with a final makeathon together with Strategy& and OneAIM. The challenge was to design a MedTech or WellTech startup enabling the shift toward truly personalized medicine. Our team came up with BRUXLY, a customizable biofeedback solution for bruxism. The idea combines a behind-the-ear sensor for real-time haptic feedback with a personalized app to track patterns and stress-related triggers. During the makeathon, we built a functional app prototype, while the sensor was designed conceptually. Out of seven teams, our concept was ranked #1 by the audience. Most importantly, I had the pleasure of working with Nikita Z., Viktoria Josephine Bals, Manuel Reiter, and Oscar Wiederholdβ€”an incredibly motivated and talented team. The makeathon was a fitting finale to the OneAIM Connect program, where we gained valuable insights into the MedTech ecosystem through talks and workshops with clinicians, researchers, industry partners, and startups. I’m very grateful to OneAIM, Strategy&, and everyone involved for this enriching experience.
