More people may soon be able to get the obesity treatment they need. Beginning July 1, eligible Medicare Part D beneficiaries may be able to get certain obesity medicines for weight management through Medicare GLP-1 Bridge. This marks an important step toward real choice in obesity care, helping more patients and doctors have informed conversations about the treatment options that may be right for them.
