Artist Harry Yeff has transformed a critical climate dataset into a real-time conversational experience: Agentic Thwaites Glacier. The Thwaites Glacier, or the 'Doomsday Glacier', is losing 80 billion tons of ice every year. If it collapses, it could raise global sea levels by over 2 feet. Using ElevenAgents, Yeff combined satellite data from NASA, climate and oceanographic models, and scientific records to form the knowledge base for an AI agent which can hold conversations about how the glacier is changing. His work, which sparked 3,000+ conversations at the UN’s AI for Good summit, shows how AI agents can be used to make scientific knowledge more accessible.
