Digital lungs? Yes! What if we could test inhaled drugs in silico — before a single patient is enrolled? This is exactly what Ebenbuild is working toward with their digital lung twin platform Twinhale — and they’ve just secured a €2.3M EIC Accelerator grant, plus the option for up to €10M in equity, to bring it to market. Check this out https://lnkd.in/ezigC2eJ As someone involved in clinical trial planning, I see huge potential here. Twinhale simulates patient-specific drug distribution in the lungs based on clinical trials data — offering a way to optimize formulation and delivery strategy before trials even begin. Especially for inhaled therapies, where targeting the right lung regions makes or breaks efficacy, this could be a real game-changer. The results so far, including pilots with PARI Pharma and Pieris Pharmaceuticals, are very promising — outperforming existing models in both accuracy and scalability. This kind of tool is not just clinically valuable, it is attractive to investors and the space is getting busier by day. Congrats to the Ebenbuild team Kei Wieland Müller Jonas Biehler Maximilian Grill Looking forward to seeing how Twinhale integrates into trial planning and beyond. #ClinicalTrials #DigitalTwin #RespiratoryCare #DigitalHealth #HealthTech #InSilicoTrials #DrugDevelopment #Innovation #EICAccelerator #PersonalizedMedicine
