Element Plano has expanded its package testing capabilities with the addition of a new Incline Impact Test Machine. This latest investment strengthens our transportation and distribution testing services, helping customers assess how packaging and palletized loads perform under real-world transit conditions, including sudden stops, shifts, and impacts. Located in Plano, Texas, the new machine can test pallet-sized products and heavy units up to 6,000 lbs. in line with ASTM D4169-16, providing a more consistent and efficient alternative to manual testing methods. As Brian Carr, Environmental Department Manager at Element Plano, explains: “The Incline Impact Test Stand gives packaging suppliers greater confidence that their units can withstand shifting loads and sudden stops during transport.” The addition further enhances Element Plano’s ability to support manufacturers with reliable, accredited testing services across a wide range of industries.
