In a new preprint, researchers at Altos Labs San Diego, the Medical University of Vienna, and Karolinska Institutet introduce RETrace2, a new single-cell lineage tracing method. 🧬 Their approach relies on homopolymer markers, sequences that are biologically informative but notoriously hard to sequence accurately.
