One of the country’s most loved traditions, Midsommar brings people together to celebrate the bright Nordic summer. Across Sweden, friends and families gather outdoors to dance around the maypole, enjoy seasonal dishes and make the most of the longest days of the year. The Midsommar table features classics like pickled herring, new potatoes with dill, "gravlax," a Nordic-style cured salmon, and fresh strawberries with cream.
