After a chance meeting at Montreal airport 🍁 Member of the Bavarian State Parliament, Kerstin Schreyer joined us at Electrochaea HQ to learn more about our biomethanation technology. Both Ms. Schreyer and Electrochaea’s CBO and MD, Doris Hafenbradl were in Quebec exploring the region’s latest synthetic methane, hydrogen and RNG project players. Discovering common goals and a shared vision in Montreal’s Departures lounge 🛫 we invited Ms. Schreyer to find out how our proprietary tech converts green hydrogen and CO2 into grid-quality e-methane. In her role as Deputy Chair of the Committee on Economic Affairs, Regional Development, Energy, Media and Digitization, Ms. Schreyer (MdL) plays an important role in supporting Bavaria’s development as a leading hydrogen tech hub. During the visit, we were pleased to share insights from our R&D team and give a tour of our lab. It was a great opportunity to discuss the potential of hydrogen derivatives and the role Bavaria can play in enabling a global low-carbon energy system.
