Politik trifft Praxis. Letzte Woche hatten wir die Gelegenheit, Vertreterinnen und Vertreter der Sozialdemokratische Partei Österreichs (SPÖ) zu einem Austausch inklusive Produktionsrundgang zu begrüßen. Neben den aktuellen Herausforderungen wie dem Fachkräftemangel und steigenden Lohnstückkosten ging es vor allem um eines: Vertrauen in die Region. Auch wenn eine Produktion im Ausland unter rein finanziellen Gesichtspunkten oft günstiger wäre, stehen wir aus voller Überzeugung zu unserem Standort in Innsbruck. Das tun wir ganz bewusst aus Verantwortung gegenüber unseren Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern. Doch ein starker regionaler Standort bedeutet für uns noch viel mehr: Er steht für gelebten Umweltschutz durch kurze Transportwege und ermöglicht es uns gleichzeitig, flexibel und mit schnellen Reaktionszeiten für unsere Kundinnen und Kunden da zu sein. Damit wir diesen Weg jedoch langfristig erfolgreich weitergehen können, müssen Politik und KMUs enger zusammenarbeiten. Last week, we had the opportunity to welcome representatives from the Sozialdemokratische Partei Österreichs (SPÖ)for a dialogue, including a tour of our production facility. Alongside current challenges such as the shortage of skilled labor and rising unit labor costs, the discussion focused primarily on one thing: trust in the region. Even though producing abroad might often be cheaper from a purely financial perspective, we remain deeply committed to our location in Innsbruck. We make this conscious choice out of a sense of responsibility toward our employees. But believing in our region means so much more to us: it stands for environmental sustainability through short transport routes, while also enabling us to remain flexible and provide fast reaction times for our customers. However, to successfully continue on this path in the long term, politics and SMEs must work more closely together.
