Electra Acquires Logistics Company ARD Transportation   The Electra Group has entered yet another field of activity, acquiring control of a prominent Israeli logistics and transportation company for NIS 72 million. ARD Transportation provides a range of logistics services, primarily through the management and operation of five logistics centers, and also offers nationwide transport and distribution services via a fleet of 150 trucks, including those outfitted to handle refrigerated goods and hazardous materials. The company’s 2025 turnover reached NIS 150 million. Electra has now acquired a 51% stake in ARD from the company’s founders, brothers David and Avi Peretz. The agreement gives Electra the option to purchase the remaining 49% holding from the brothers at a later date, under similar terms. Current CEO Ilay Peretz, David’s son, will continue in his role going forward. Due to this acquisition, ARD will become part of Electra FM, which coordinates the Group’s facility management services and spearheads the Operations & Maintenance segment of Electra’s activities. Beyond entering a new sector, the goal is to integrate ARD’s logistics capabilities with the broader service portfolio offered by the Group in this area. Operations & Maintenance is a major growth segment, with revenues of NIS 3.4 billion in 2025 representing 24% of the Group’s total annual revenues and a 9% increase over 2024. The acquisition of ARD presents many opportunities for further growth and diversification in this strategically significant sector.
