Today, Elastic 9.4 is now available as the latest version of the Elasticsearch Platform. It brings new advancements across Search & AI, Observability, and Security. With this release, Elastic Workflows is now generally available. It combines both scripted automation and agentic reasoning enabling AI agents to act on their findings. Alongside this, Agent Builder has been extended to optimize context with a set of interlocking capabilities and enhancements that control how agents acquire context, use it efficiently, and act on what they find. The release also introduces native Prometheus and PromQL support. Combined with significant TSDB efficiency improvements, this makes a strong case for a single platform across logs, metrics, and traces. Now available on Elastic Cloud.
