#QuantumCat, #Detective Rank, Essie šŸˆā€ā¬›,Ā Just found out that Hugh Everett III (#HughEverett) who proposed theĀ relative stateĀ interpretation ofĀ quantum mechanics, later to become the basis of theĀ many-worlds interpretationĀ (MWI), was involved in other critical matters. Apparently Hugh was also into game theory, and Essie, in her #CatDetective mode, noted today that Hugh worked for OSD's Weapons Systems Evaluation Group (WSEG) from from 1956 until 1964. WSEG conducted Operational Research work for the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Secretary of Defense. .. Turns out Hugh became director of the WSEG's Department of Physical and Mathematical Sciences in 1957. https://lnkd.in/eEhvbK9D This puts a whole new spin (#Quantized?) on the #manyWorldInterpretation. ... and other #Quantum matters. by the way, Hugh's Ph.D. advisor at Princeton was John Wheeler. Some of Wheeler's other Ph.D. Advisees were šŸ‘€ Richard Feynman,Ā Kip Thorne, and John S. Toll. šŸ’Æ Ā  ( John Hanley, curious about Hugh's Naval issues involvement; wikipedia notes Admiral John Sides was WSEG director -1962-1964)
