⚡Powering Ireland’s Offshore Future While Supporting Maritime Safety🚤 🚁EirGrid recently supported essential Irish Coast Guard helicopter training exercises off the Wexford coast during marine surveys for the Powering Up Offshore – South Coast project. ⛑️Through close collaboration with Fugro, EirGrid’s appointed survey contractor, and the crew of the Kommandor Iona, facilitated a series of helicopter winch training exercises at sea. ⚓ These exercises are vital to enabling the Irish Coast Guard’s crews to deliver effective 24/7 search and rescue as well as emergency response services.
