☀️ Ireland’s sunshine is doing more than brightening our days, it’s helping power the country ⚡🇮🇪 June marked a record month for solar energy on Ireland’s electricity system, contributing 8.2% of the overall fuel mix – the highest level ever recorded 📈 Overall, 42% of Ireland’s electricity came from renewable sources during the month, with wind energy continuing to play a major role, providing 30.7% of total electricity generation. These milestones highlight the continued growth of renewable energy across Ireland and the progress being made to integrate more clean electricity onto the power system.
