⭐ EirGrid announces recruitment of Managing Director for Offshore Wind ⭐ EirGrid is recruiting for a newly-created senior leadership role, a position that will play a pivotal part in Ireland’s energy transition. As Ireland accelerates its move to a low carbon future, offshore wind will be central to achieving national climate targets for 2030 and 2040, while EirGrid ensures a safe, secure and resilient supply of power to homes, communities and businesses. 💨 To support this ambition, EirGrid is establishing a dedicated offshore business to plan, develop and deliver the transmission infrastructure required to integrate offshore renewable energy at scale. The Managing Director – Offshore will build and lead this new business, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and joining EirGrid’s Senior Executive Leadership Team.
