Your team never disagrees with you in meetings. That's not alignment. That's fear wearing alignment's clothes. Psychological safety, as Amy Edmondson actually defined it, is not about being nice. It's crossed with a second axis everyone forgets: high standards. Safety without standards = comfort zone. Standards without safety = anxiety zone.
