Offering support to both start-ups and established hospitality businesses, in operations, concept and site development, projects management and interim GM hotel management. From 30 years experience as an operator.

I believe most people in the world of luxury hotels know of NIHI Sumba. Yes, the hotel with the horses. Voted best hotel of the year by Travel and Leisure twice. An incredible founding story, a decade of building trust and being real, in hospitality, with Location Paradise. They just opened NIHI Rote in May. And are looking at more sites. So we thought we´d get the co-founder, James W McBride, on the pod to talk with us, and discuss a few news stories too. But when you have a person with such charisma, history and storytelling on your show, sometimes you skip the news stories and just take the opportunity to ask questions. And so we did. A pleasant hour of talking about hotels, independents, switching from working for a large company to going it on your own, and brand building. On the latest episode of This Week in Hospitality, links below 👇 We, Zach Busekrus, Scott Eddy, Ben Wolff and I love to shake it up some times, and see how it resonates with our listeners. Let us know if it did. Just see this episode as one big spicy Spice of the Week. (Oh, and I´m brushing up my CV as there is an opening for a stable manager and a boutique manager at Nihi Sumba...) https://lnkd.in/empfF2SY
