Head of Asia and Pacific Division at European Investment Bank (EIB)
#TeamEurope 🇪🇺 in Mongolia 🇲🇳 VP Teresa Czerwińska of European Investment Bank (EIB) and Deputy Prime Minister Togmid Dorjkhand of Mongolia signed #GlobalGateway Memorandum of Understanding to promote investments in strategic sectors, such as renewable energy ⚡️, transport 🚝, and connectivity 📡. The signature ceremony took place during the 1st European Union - Mongolia Business and Investment Forum at Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, and was witnessed by over 700 representatives from local and European businesses, governments, academia, and media. A high profile event attracted significant attention of media, including Bloomberg TV, and local press, which covered main proceedings in great detail. The entire Forum was choreographed and professionally orchestrated by the EU Delegation in Mongolia and the Government. Sincere congratulations go to HE Ina Marčiulionytė, EU Ambassador, and her team, notably Christophe Forax, Adrien Mourgues, and Arnaud Appriou, among many others, and Peteris Ustubs and Sarah Rinaldi of European Commission, as well as Tom Corrie, Regional Head of Cooperation. On the Mongolian side, special thanks to Zula Luvsandorj, Advisor to DPM. I also would like to express my gratitude to DZHAKHONGIR SHAMSIEV, FCCA, CFA, EBRD Mongolia Country Manager for his warm welcome and support, Shannon Cowlin, Asian Development Bank (ADB) Country Director, as well as colleagues from Agence Française de Développement, KfW, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, and many other #TeamEurope partners for their active engagement.
